About Us
Founded on June 26, 2017, the Girls in Charge Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of young girls and women globally, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. The foundation was born out of a deep concern for the widespread suffering in the world and a strong desire to provide girls with a platform to use their voices, creativity, and ideas to create meaningful impact.
Recognizing that a major barrier for many girls is lack of financial support, the foundation focuses on equipping them through education, leadership development, and opportunity creation. It strives to break the cycle of poverty by empowering girls to achieve their dreams, improve their communities, and eventually drive economic and social transformation in their nations.
The ultimate vision is to raise a generation of women who will not only succeed but also uplift others, becoming agents of lasting change for a better, more equitable world.
